   How much does it cost?

Basement finishing costs can vary dramatically. It really depends on what you want. Do you want a bathroom? If so, is the plumbing roughed in and in the correct location for the lay out you desire? Do you want a bar? If a "wet" bar, is the plumbing in the proper location for the sink or other desired appliances? Would you like custom cabinetry for your theater room? I think you can see where we are going with this. There are many questions that need to be answered before the cost of a basement finishing project can be determined. Don't be fooled by those offering to finish your basement for a standard flat rate. As the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for.", that holds true for basement finishing, probably more so than many other residential remodeling projects, due to their complexity. Our goal is to provide our customers with the highest level of quality and service for a reasonable price.    How long does it take?

This will of course be determined by the size and complexity of the project. On average a typical basement, one that is around 1,000 square feet, will take about 4-6 weeks from start to finish. Again, this is just an estimate, until we have seen your basement and discussed with you the details you would like to incorporate it is difficult to say how long your project will take. Usually, upon meeting with you initially to discuss the project with you we can give you a very close estimate not only on price but also on time to completion once started.

   Will I see a return on my Investment?

Yes! Today, in our region of the country, many new home buyers are looking for a home which already has a professionally finished basement. A few years ago you could have only expected to see a return of about 50%, now you could expect to see a return of 78.8% averaged nationally, according to Remodeling Magazine, which does a very extensive study each year on remodeling trends. This is just below a typical bathroom remodel, which shows a return of 84.9%, and is one of the best projects overall as far as ROI (return on investment).
