American Family Remodeling Inc.  is a small company of responsible, courteous, quality-oriented craftspeople who enjoy their work. We are full service home remodeling specialists who take great pride not only in the work we do, but also in our relationship with the homeowners we serve. Our goal is to remain a small company so that we can provide the personal service and high level of quality that our customer have known us for.

Troy Seymour founded American Family Remodeling Inc. in 2003. Prior to the founding of the company Troy had worked for one of the areas largest remodeling companies for a period of 18 years. Troy started out as an entry level installer and over the years had earned the title of Vice President of the company. Troy's responsibilities were customer relations and service, quality control, as well as sales and marketing. Although it was very satisfying to see the company grow dramatically year after year, to Troy something was missing. Over the years it became increasingly difficult to provide a personal level of service as well as provide the highest level of quality in which Troy expected due to the rapid growth. It became evident that he had to make a change. American Family Remodeling Inc. was established.

After just a few short years American Family Remodeling Inc. had acquired more clients then it could handle with it's very small staff. Neither quality or personal service could be jeopardized, so instead of taking a chance on hiring additional staff with no guarantee of what he would get or not get, Troy decided to merge with KDEK Inc. Troy Seymour and Kevin Badgley, the owner of KDEK Inc., became partners. This seemed to be the best solution for both companies as KDEK was also in a similar situation with respects to needing additional staff to provide the level of quality he expected.

Kevin Badgley started his career in the remodeling business right out of high school. He obtained a position with a local remodeling company as an entry level carpenter/apprentice. Over his 14 years with the company he earned the position of General manager of the company. His responsibilities included customer service, quality control, as well as managing the sales team. Kevin also felt that at that point in his career something wasn't right. He also felt that the level of personal service and quality control had diminished significantly as the company grew, seemingly out of control. It was in 1998 that he decided to establish KDEK Inc., with the goal of remaining small and providing personal service and the highest level of quality.
